I have long, curly, thin hair. What products i should use to make it full and thick?

I have been thinking about getting extensions to get an overall thicker feel, but are there any products out there to help instead? Also, my hair is thin already, but i "shead" a lot and it is very dry at the edges. So i need to product for THIN, CURLY, LONG, DAMAGED hair.

I'm so sad no one has answered this cuz I was gonna ask it!!!

I have the exact same problem.

The thing with me is that my hair gets used to a product and after 2 months I have to change cuz it stops working!

I would try mane n tail shampoos and conditioners. I have heard they make your hair look and feel really healthy.

I have thin hair too, so thats the shampoo I am going to buy next. Also, it has gotten alot of great reviews.

How to make hair thinner without making it shorter?

ok so I have really thick hair and I want it thinner but the same length. is there anyway to get it cut or something like that to make it thinner but the same length?

How to make hair thinner without making it shorter?

just go to a salon and ask them to thin your hair out. It's best to have them just do the under layer so it won't look to bad when it grows out.

How to make hair thinner without making it shorter?

you can get it razored...they just thin it out w.o really affected the length

How to make hair thinner without making it shorter?

Tell the hair stylist you want to get your hair thinner

How to make hair thinner without making it shorter?

Ask your hairdresser to thin out your hair without removing length. They can do this by the way they remove bulk without removing length. Can't think of the word for it though.

How to make hair thinner without making it shorter?

umm, yea. go to a stylist, they'll use a razor to thin it out. for an example of what i mean, try to look out for the tv show "what not to wear", it comes on the tlc channel. the hair portion is near the end and stylist nick arrojo{sp} uses this technique often

How to make hair thinner without making it shorter?

If you go to a salon they have what is called a texturizer...

It does thin out the hair.

However, you must be careful with texturizers, they can cause flyaways.

How to make hair thinner without making it shorter?

go to any hair salon they have a tool that kinda looks like a razor blade with a handle. It does not cut your hair or change the length, it only takes out excess hair and thins it out. I have to get this done at least every 3 or 4 months I dont know if they have a hair cuttery where you are located, but thats where I go and it is really inexpensive.

How to make hair thinner without making it shorter?

tomato suace...

i am serious

How to make hair thinner without making it shorter?

I had the same problem. I got my hiar thinned by my hiar stylist. She used these scissors that cut a little of my hair at a time and you cant tell at all. But if you get your hair razored, remember that can ruin your hair. So I dont recommend it. Either way you do have to get it done about every2 months or so. good luck

Hair loss durning pregnancy?

Hi all,

I'm 6 weeks pregnant for the first time. I have quite thick hair and i'm normally a "shedder". But these last few days my husband and i have noticed that i'm shedding everywhere and it just falls out when i'm combing or putting my fingers through it. This is a bit worrisome to me. On some sites it says it could be a mineral deficiency but i take all my vitamins and minerals everyday. What worries me most is that i have PCOS and thinning hair is a symptom but i never had it till now. Some input please???

Hair loss durning pregnancy?

Hi,

Read this: "Info on pregnancy and hair loss"

Maybe it would help

Hair loss durning pregnancy?

I don't know what PCOS is, but maybe your pregnancy is aggravating it.

Hair loss durning pregnancy?

Hair loss during pregnancy is completely normal, no need to worry!

Hair loss durning pregnancy?

While hair loss is normal, most pregnant women enjoy thicker more full hair, it more than likely nothing but worth a mention to your ob/gyn

Hair loss durning pregnancy?

I would contact your doctor immediately. In normal pregnancies, hair loss is a significant sign that you are vitamin deficient. And water deficient!

Make sure that you're drinking plenty of water. It's very easy to get dehydrated during pregnancy. And hair loss does happen with dehyrdation.

I'm not sure what PCOS is, but I do know that whatever it is, it may be getting worse because of your pregnancy. This happens with a lot of medical problems that people have.

Remember, your baby is taking all the nutrients that it can right now. Whatever is left for you, is what you have. If your body is working double time to grow a baby, it could increase your symptoms of your medical risk.

Give your doctor a phone call. Chances are you may need medicine, or may need to be seen a little sooner.

Chi Flat Iron for thin hair?

Does anyone have thin hair and use the Chi Flat Iron? I want to buy one and they are rather expensive so I would like to know if anyone uses it already and if it burns or drys out your hair (if it's thin)

Chi Flat Iron for thin hair?

I would definatly go for the CHI, but make sure you get products to put in your hair before you flat iron. Chi makes one it is to protect you from the heat damage while your hair is wet you will spray it in comb it through with a wide tooth comb and let hair dry i would let it air dry since you are going to flat iron it. Once dry take small sections and iron it. Another product that you can put in before if CHI is too expensive (i can't remember the price off hand) is Biosilk Silk Therapy be careful though with that use only a small amount and it goes on dry hair. If you use too much it will make you look like a grease head.

Chi Flat Iron for thin hair?

My missus says remington is best.

Chi Flat Iron for thin hair?

I used to work in a retail store that carried many high end products. The Chi was our number one selling straight iron. I would never ever use anything else on my hair again. They have a life-time warranty if it ever breaks and the store I worked for took back the defective ones for up to a year and then it was through Farouk. I would definitely invest in a Chi.

Egg Whites for shampoo to thin hair?

My hair is really thick, but I don't want to get it professionally thinned. I have heard that washing you hair in egg whites can naturally thin out your hair a little. Is this true? Thanks!

Egg Whites for shampoo to thin hair?

No that is not true.

We don't thin out hair we texturize it and take out the bulk.

Seeing your hairstylist is the only way.

However if you find that they are not doing that than find someone who can. It's an art form and not everyone will do it the same way as someone else. This should always last till your next hair cut.

Good Luck

Egg Whites for shampoo to thin hair?

I don't think so, but that is gross anyway . Why do you want thin hair?? Thick hair looks great everyone likes it .

Egg Whites for shampoo to thin hair?

Cherish your thick hair! Lucky you!

Egg Whites for shampoo to thin hair?

Egg whites are a protein. I can only assume this would strengthen your hair and in turn make it thicker.

Egg Whites for shampoo to thin hair?

Thick hair is best! If you don't already, get some nice choppy layers cut in by your hairdresser... This makes hair look and feel a little thinner but will also look alot nicer and give your hair alot more style!

Thicker hair gives your hair more "body", it'll look alot more stylish and you can get away with a lot more cuts, nobody really wants thin hair. Feel happy and lucky that you have thick hair!

I know its not answering your question though - Sorry x x

Egg Whites for shampoo to thin hair?

eww

Egg Whites for shampoo to thin hair?

TRUST ME--you do not want thin hair.

Egg whites make your hair shiny, not thin.

I hate it when people with beautiful thick hair think it's "bushy" or something and get it thinned. It is SUCH a waste. A lot of people would KILL to have thick hair.

Even if it's frizzy or rough or whatever, it's still better than 1-centimeter thick Paris Hilton-style hair. YUCK.

Life Fitness Hair Skin & Nails?

http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gateway/de...

Has anyone ever tried this? I just got a crappy haircut, and I want my hair to grow back a little faster (any amount faster is a plus), so I thought that I would start taking a vitamin to help along.

I also have a thinning hair problem (I'm 17 and male), and who knows, I might try something that could help.

I was planning on going to GNC to buy Nourishair, but then I found this at CVS. It's cheaper, and it seems to have more of almost everything (including 1,800 more mg of bioton), but am I missing something?

I don't want to buy a crappy product, and if it means paying more for Nourishair, I will. See any problems or have any other product reccomendations? How about Vitol Great Hair?

Thanks a lot!

Life Fitness Hair Skin %26amp; Nails?

don't get it. they advertise it and make it sound good but it can be risky. talk to your doc for safety issues.

Life Fitness Hair Skin %26amp; Nails?

If you want your hair to grow faster and be healthier i would try using Biotin. I had a stylist recommend it to me, and it really does help it alot. I would buy vitamins from GNC because they monitor what goes into their products while other places like Wal-Mart and CVS and Walgreens don't. I would recommend taking about 2500 mcg a day to start out, i take about 5000mcg a day but i've used them for a year now. It will take about a month to get threw your system same as anything else but you may start to notice a difference sooner. Good Luck!
