if u wanted to make ur hair super super thin (permanently) what would u do? I want to be able to do this by myself without going to the hair salon. My hair is really really thick and puffy (not athro).... what should i buy to do this and can u buy it in local stores like wal-mart? where could u buy them?

I too struggle with really thick hair. There is no solution that does exactly what you just described because even a chemical treatment will grow out, and I don't think there even is a chemical thinner. Here are the options I live in to tame my mane. I have found that a chemical straightener is really helpful. Even though my hair is not curly it will lay flat when it has been straightened. This is just as damaging as a perm so be prepared to care for dry hair afterwords. I also find that wearing my hair long weighs it down enough that is will lay flatter that way too. Mine is currently all the way to my low back and looking better than it has my whole life. The final option is to go to a stylist to have your hair "thinned" What that means is they will actually cut out layers of your hair. It is very high maintenance to keep looking nice and grows out really uneven. My brother used to have some success with it but he wears his hair short. You could also of course embrace your exotic beauty and revel in your individualism, but I know how hard that can be. Good luck sister!

i don't think you can buy anything to mak eyour hair like that. You might have to go and get layers put in your hair and get it chemically relaxed or straighten it every day.

Nothing really that you can do, other than to go to the salon, and have them thin it out with a nice shag cut or something.

i don't know if there is anything that can make your hair thin permanentley, but there are shampoos and conditioners that can help. or if u did go to a salon, you could ask them to razor it so that it's thinner. or getting it permanentley straightened might calm it down a little. it really depends on the texture of your hair. sorry! not much help!
