I have thin hear and I color it blonde and it actually thickens my hair.

You can bleach your hair but it will cause a bit of damaging as bleach actually takes out color pigmentation from the hair. It will not make ur hair thicker. Your best off getting a full head of blonde foils it will look much better. Breakage will most likely happen as it weakens your hair but you wont go bald. try not to straighten it every day and it will be ok.

its not the density of your hair that determines how bad it will break.. lots of things factor into that... like how big of a change it will be (going from black to blonde or going blonde to blonder kinda thing) how healthy your hair is... the porosity, the elasticity... more than likely its not gonna hurt it. I'd start off with smoe highlights and see how it does with that. have them do a test strand to make sure how your hair will react.

Bleach will always, always damage your hair no matter what. However, with thin hair it depends. Many people assume that they have thin strands of hair, but in most cases the fact is that they don't have very dense hair, and their individual strands aren't actually thin. So in any case, bleach means damage but probably moreso on thin strands. :D
