Does anyone have thin hair that is also frizzy? What products reduce frizz but don't leave thin

I use Pantene's volumizing shampoo and only apply conditioner to the ends b/c conditioner (even a little bit) completely flattens my hair. I know that volumizing shampoos tend to cause frizzy hair (I use a nickel-sized amount for shoulder-length hair), but if I don't use the shampoo, it's back to flatland. The only thing that helped was a hair straightener, but then my hair started to fall out more than usual for a few days afterwards. Ideas or solutions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

First off - don't use Pantene. The number one reason is that the test on animals, but the number two reason is because it strips your hair of oils, which is probably causing the frizz. Try mixing up your types of shampoo. I love Aussie moist shampoo with Aussie Volume conditioner that way you're not overdrying your hair or weighing it down.

You should try also try frizz oils. Unfortunatley with these, you really do need to buy something a little more expensive because the cheap stuff really sucks. I have really limp thin hair too, and if you just use a little bit and blow dry your hair it doesn't weigh it down all that much.

Finally, try velcro rollers after your hair is dry. Spray a little bit of hairspray at the roots after you've set it, put the blow dryer on each roller on low speed high heat for ten seconds each, let the rollers stay in your hair for about 20 minutes then take them out. That'll really help with volume.

Good luck.

My suggestion would be to use Redken Anti snap before you flat iron your hair and only use a ceramic flat iron. using a product first will help breakage. Have you ever tried blowing your hair straight? Actually a good thing to do would be to go to a nice hair salon, itll be a little pricey but they can use some products on your hair and tell you what they used and what would work best for your specific hair type.
