im getting my hair thinned i hav wavy hair that is thick but not bushy. i just want to get it thinned because i am getting knots underneath. and i was just wondering if you could tell me some facts about it and ur personal experience or anything uv heard from people who hav had it done. tnx

i get mine thinned every time i get it cut! i don't even know what i would do if i didn't haha my only advice is do not them take an electric razor to your hair no matter what someone did that too me once and it was awful!

I don't like thinning peoples hair. It makes the hair look unhealthy because you are basically chipping into the hair with the scissors giving it an uneven cut.

my sister's hair is the same way.

its really thick but pretty...but its hard for her to handle so she thins it all the time. The way she thins her hair is that their are these special kind of scissors for that.

you know how there are 2 blades in a scissor? well there is only one blade and the other one is kind of like a metal comb. So you just start at you roots and cut your hair across and it evenly takes out hair=less hair.

Since its your first time you should go to a salon or something to get it done...but its really easy to do it yourself too.

you should get it thinned because then it won't be so thick i got my hair thinned and it looks good

i have really thick hair and hairstylists love to thin and texturize my hair even when i say not too.... it looks horrible if left to be dried naturally and just looks really thin and brittle if I straighten it... the only thing i can get away with is using big curls....
