How do you get thick hair a little thinner?

I have extremely thick black hair.It is a little past my shoulders(maybe by a cm or two). It is very thick%26amp;it's growing pattern in a new layers or new growth,then it gets longer.Perms don't take well to my hair,so i press it with a hot comb every once and a while.I would like my hair to be thinner in layers卢 curly when water touches it.How can I make my hair thinner in layers%26amp;abel to wet it and pretty much do anything with it. Basically,how can i make my hair easy to manage?

umm have them like layer it then razor the bottom. i just got it done and it works great. dont get too much cut off though bc then it looks bad when its curled.

Find a GREAT hairdresser and see what she can do for you. I would just use a straightening iron. It makes your hair look really healthy and gives it great shine...get some streaks put in and it will look awesome. You really should learn to work with your hair so that you can easily manage it. If I have to do more than a quick dry each day it's a hassle and not worth it. On the other hand to get my hair long and one layer again I have had to straighten it and so I do that daily, but only wash it every 3 days...it's a lot easier to manage this as I just need to touch up for a few seconds with the straightener each day, and only on the day I wash it do I condition it well and afterwards moisturize it with a good silk shine product to keep it looking good and healthy and under control.

I have natural curls and used to just towel dry it really well and then scrunch it with a good curling gel...if you want curls that works best and dry it with a dryer that has a diffuser as it adds more curls. Never comb or brush your hair if you want curls...just finger dry. A great cut is your best asset if you want to keep curls, and layers worked best for me too and just let your hair do what comes naturally.
