Anyone with thin hair ever had a perm?

Is it okay to perm thin hair?

My hair is very thin and fine..like baby hair and I don't have a lot of it. It medium length but not long and not short either.

I want just one of those perms with the loose curls, not an old lady perm.

Do you think a perm would burn my hair up it being so thin?

Don't Do It!!

I have really thin,baby fine hair(or had at least) and a perm completley fried it!! I would love to have curly hair and have thought about getting another one but then I remembered how high maintence they are. Trust me, if you want loose curls, use a curlilng iron. It will take longer but it will be very much worth it!

I think the people that work at the salon will just leave the chemicals in your hair at a shorter time than for someone with medium or thick hair.
