i have really really thin hair how do i make it thick. does anyone no if oil works beacuse i am from sri lanka and people there uses oil but i dont no if it work for me

well i dont know about oil...and it might be pretty hard to wash out of your hair. i think that the shampoo "fat hair" by samy is supposed to work pretty good!

try mane and tail shampoo and conditioner. if you can't find it by the human shampoo look in the pet section. i use it in the fall and winter because i shed really bad. it works pretty good on my hair.

Bend over and hang your hair towards the floor and brush and blow dry it that way. When you flip your head back up it will look thicker. Oil will weigh it down.

oil just makes your hair need to be washed more frequently. (depending sometimes on kind)

i find just using a mousse in my hair after i wash it helps with straight hair lots!

Oil would make it look more flat. For fullness you should try velcro or hot rollers. The only bad thing is that it takes time.

I have lots of hair but fine strands so what I do is get highlights to open up the strand of hair %26amp; make it seem thicker.

There is a line of products called Nioxin that is made especially for thin hair. Another is called Body Double by Sebastian. I have not used Nioxin, but Body Double is wonderful. I used it before I went all over blonde for added fullness to my hair. Also keeping your hair cut shorter helps it to appear more full. I use a styling product that adds fullness %26amp; smooths made by TIGI called Small Talk. I love this stuff.

Aveda has a line of thickening products too. They contain clay that coats your hair to help it feel %26amp; appear thicker. It really works. I have used it.

To get the hair you want, you will have to spend some money on great products.

use jojoba oil to stimulate growth but see if you can find anything with keratin in it...this will make what you have look thicker..good luck i am in the same boat as you:)
